On August 11, 1978, the plaintiff, Katherine A. Burrows, was injured in an automobile accident at the intersection of Highway 370 and 84th Street, in Papillion, Nebraska. The plaintiff was a passenger in her own automobile driven by Robert C. Miller who was attempting to make a left turn onto 84th Street from Highway 370 in Sarpy County when the automobile was struck by the automobile of the defendant, A. Byron Jacobsen.
