Clyde Burkhart was convicted by a jury of uttering a forged instrument in violation of § 561.011(3), RSMo 1969, and a sentence of three years was imposed. On this appeal a number of points are raised but the dispositive point is that one of the jurors was allowed to talk with a detective who was a witness for the State after the case was submitted to the jury.
