Appellant was charged in a single-count indictment with second-degree murder while armed, D.C.Code 1973, §§ 22-2403, -3202, for the stabbing death of her common-law husband. In a jury trial, appellant was convicted of the lesser-included offense of manslaughter while armed. She challenges the trial court's admission of an out-of-court statement made by the decedent to a co-worker that appellant...
