This case arises out of the August 12, 1974 termination of plaintiff-appellee, cross-appellant Robert Leslie Busche from his employment as a police officer for the City of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The district court found that this termination violated Busche's due process rights under the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution and awarded compensatory and punitive damages, attorney's fees and costs to Busche.1<...
