On October 14, 1977, Anchorage police officers with search and arrest warrants entered the Polar Bar and arrested William McKenzie and others for conducting a gambling game in violation of Anch.Mun.Code § 8.16.030.1 Several days later further complaints were filed against McKenzie for similar violations and a complaint was filed against the owner of the Polar Bar, Murray Stanley for knowingly permitting...
