Al Smith Dandridge, Jr., was charged with burglary, criminal trespass to a motor vehicle, and attempted theft for the events of February 27, 1979. He was tried by a jury on May 12 and 13, 1980, and found guilty on all three counts. He was sentenced to probation for three years with three weekends in the county jail and fined $200.
