These two appeals were taken from a trial order and judgment of August 24, 1979, wherein the circuit court entered a directed verdict against the defendants as to liability and the jury awarded the plaintiff $50,000 as damages for the death by wrongful act of the decedent. The tort-feasor complains of the judgment as to liability while the administrator deems the award to be inadequate.
