Plaintiff filed suit for damages arising out of injuries he allegedly received when he slipped and fell on some liquid in an aisle of one of defendant's grocery stores. The evidence adduced at trial indicates that a bottle of some liquid (probably vinegar) struck the floor of an aisle near the front of the store, broke, and spilled at least a portion of its contents onto the floor.
