CRAFTON v. STATE

No. CR 81-45.

624 S.W.2d 440 (1981)

Marty CRAFTON, Appellant, v. STATE of Arkansas, Appellee.

Supreme Court of Arkansas.

November 23, 1981.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Andrew Fulkerson, Paragould, for appellant.

Steve Clark, Atty. Gen., by Theodore Holder, Asst. Atty. Gen., Little Rock, for appellee.

HAYS, Justice.

Appellant seeks reversal of a judgment sentencing him as a habitual offender to consecutive terms of 25 years for first degree battery and 10 years for possession of a firearm by a felon. The charges arose from a tavern quarrel with Hugh Jones. Witnesses said appellant drew a pistol, which he and Jones struggled over, and Jones sustained a bullet wound in the leg. Appellant argues six points, but we find no reversible error.
