Defendant was arrested on October 25, 1978, and charged with unlawful use of weapons for carrying a loaded revolver within Chicago city limits while on parole. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 38, par. 24-1(a)(10).) He filed motions to quash arrest and suppress evidence which alleged that police arrested him in front of his home...
