Sam Dobervich appeals from a judgment entered by the district court of Cass County in favor of the Central Cass Public School District No. 17. We affirm.

Dobervich was employed by the school district for a period of several years, including the school year 1976-1977. On March 21, 1977, a letter was addressed to Dobervich, at the direction of the school board [hereinafter "board"], informing him that the board was contemplating not renewing...
