The plaintiffs, Hayward and Connie McCullers, filed a rule to show cause why the State of Louisiana, Department of Labor, Office of Employment Security (Office of Employment Security) should not be ordered to pay them unemployment compensation benefits for each week in which they were unemployed during the months of February, March, April and May of 1980, plus interest and costs. The trial court granted judgment ordering the payment of such benefits...
