On direct appeal of his convictions by a jury of 21 counts, including violations of 18 U.S.C. §§ 659, 2312, 2313, and 2315, we rejected all of William Henry Forrest's assignments of error, save one. We remanded for a hearing on Forrest's complaint that his trial was tainted because there was an impermissible contact with the jury.
