George Robertson was working at an Anchorage bookstore when he heard a rumor that an Anchorage woman whose husband had been killed in a robbery had put out a contract for the death of the supposed killer. Seeing an opportunity to make some fast money, Robertson called the woman, told her he would do the job and arranged a meeting with her to discuss details.
