The plaintiff in this case, Mr. Piwowar, is an experienced carpenter residing in Hammond, Indiana. On September 9, 1971, he was called to do some emergency work at an office in East Chicago which had been burglarized. In the course of his work, it was necessary for Mr. Piwowar to make a new frame for a door.
