Plaintiff, Donnie LeBlanc, brought suit against Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), Petroleum Equipment and Tools Company (PETCO), and B. J. Hughes (Hughes) for a hand injury he sustained while working on a fixed platform in the Gulf of Mexico off the Louisiana Coast.
