This suit arises out of alleged breaches of the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 401 et seq. Appellants are union members who sought to compel appellee Sabine Independent Seamen's Association (SISA) to produce its financial records for inspection under 29 U.S.C. § 431(c) and also to reimburse union members for a dues increase that violated the provisions of 29 U.S.C. § 411(a)(3)(A).
