Indicted for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, the defendant, James Patrick Leake, was tried by jury and convicted of possession with intent to distribute only as an accommodation. In accordance with the jury's verdict, the defendant was sentenced to serve 12 months in jail and to pay a fine of $1,000.
