Petitioner, until recently a sergeant in the Metropolitan Police Department, challenges a decision of the Police and Firemen's Retirement and Relief Board (hereinafter "Retirement Board") ordering that he be retired for a disability not incurred in or aggravated by the performance of duty, pursuant to D.C.Code 1978 Supp., § 4-526. Petitioner concedes that he is disabled for further useful and efficient service in the police department...
