This case is an appeal from the judgment of the trial court in favor of the plaintiff in a suit on a promissory note.

A judgment by confession was entered against defendant on July 12, 1976. The judgment was later vacated, and a trial on the merits was held on October 19, 1979. Defendant argued that her obligation under the note was unenforceable for lack of consideration...
