Defendant Herman Carter was charged with aggravated battery. At the conclusion of the first trial, defendant's motion for a new trial was granted. On the second trial, defendant was found guilty of four counts of aggravated battery and sentenced to a term of two to six years, from which he appeals. Defendant's pro se post-conviction petition was dismissed and he also appeals...
