Defendant-Appellant Linda Williams appeals from a jury verdict and judgment of the First Circuit Court convicting her of theft in the first degree. See Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) § 708-831 (1976). She asserts that the trial court erred in two respects: first, by denying her motion to dismiss the indictment because of an inaccurate summary of evidence by a deputy prosecuting attorney to the grand jury; second, by admitting into evidence...
