This matter is before the Court on the defendants' motion for summary judgment and motion to strike plaintiff's request for a jury trial.

Plaintiff is a former teacher at McKinley High School in St. Louis. He alleges that the Board of Education of the City of St. Louis terminated his employment for constitutionally impermissible reasons. He brings this action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and he names as defendants...
