UAW-CIO Local No. 31 Federal Credit Union (hereafter "Federal"), as the holder of a dishonored draft brought suit for the face amount of the draft against the maker, Royal Insurance Co., Ltd., (hereafter "Royal"). After judgment in favor of Royal, an appeal was taken by Federal to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, which affirmed the judgment.
