PILKINTON, Judge.

The decedent, Carrie Harris, was struck and killed by an automobile being driven by Mi's. Gail Damron. The accident happened at approximately 8:45 a. m. on March 23, 1977, as Mrs. Harris was attempting to cross U. S. Highway 270 in front of her house.
