Appellants Hooper and Stephens, along with five other individuals, were charged in a multi-count indictment with several violations of 18 U.S.C.A. § 641 and with conspiring to violate 18 U.S.C.A. §§ 641 & 2073. The district court ordered appellants severed for trial from their five codefendants.
