Following trial to a jury in case No. 78CR117, District Court of Ford County, defendant Floyd Clanton was convicted of attempted rape, K.S.A. 21-3301, and aggravated burglary, K.S.A. 21-3716.

No trial errors are specified. However, a plea bargain had been entered into whereby it was agreed that the charges of which defendant now stands convicted in case No. 78CR117 would be dismissed if he entered his plea of guilty to a separate charge of attempted...
