This is an appeal of a denial by the circuit court of Cook County of defendant, Victor Canales' motion to vacate his plea of guilty to the charge of delivery of a controlled substance. Defendant and co-defendant, Zacarias Ruiz, had been jointly indicted, and both pled guilty. Defendant was sentenced to six years in the State penitentiary, while Mr. Ruiz was allowed to plead guilty...
