This is a worker's compensation case. Appellant Esther Anzaldua (Anzaldua) was an employee of a restaurant whose compensation carrier was appellee American Guarantee & Liability Insurance Company (American). On October 15, 1976 Anzaldua was injured on the job when she slipped and fell. Anzaldua rejected the final award of the Texas Industrial Accident Board and filed suit against American.
