Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of delivery of heroin, contrary to MCL 335.341(1)(a); MSA 18.1070(41)(1)(a). On October 14, 1977, defendant was sentenced to 6 to 20 years imprisonment. He appeals as of right.

Defendant was jointly tried with one Robert Jordan, a/k/a Robert Hodges. The charges arose out of a September 1, 1976, transaction with Lansing Police Officer David Ruiz in Saginaw, Michigan. Ruiz, an undercover officer posing...
