Mr. JUSTICE VAN DEUSEN delivered the opinion of the court:

The defendant was found guilty by a jury of the offenses of theft in excess of $150 and possession of burglary tools. For the offense of theft in excess of $150 he was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for a term of 5 years and fined $10,000; for the offense of possession of burglary tools he was sentenced to a minimum term of 1 year and a maximum term of 3 years...
