Defendant Henry Miller appeals from the trial court's denial of his motion to dismiss the suit of Dale Spry and the judgment foreclosing Spry's mechanics' lien against him. The issue raised is whether plaintiff's failure to register as a contractor under RCW 18.27.080 precludes this suit, where the work was performed by a licensed well-drilling operator in plaintiff's employ.
