Luther E. Grady, Jr. was charged in separate indictments with attempt to have carnal knowledge of a female while she was 11 years old and attempt to rape her while she was 12. He was convicted of assault and battery with intent to molest and fondle a female under 12, and of attempt to commit a felony, and sentenced to two to five years in the penitentiary in each case, the terms to be served consecutively.
