On March 2, 1978, defendant was convicted by a jury of delivery of heroin and conspiracy to deliver heroin, contrary to MCL 335.341(1)(a); MSA 18.1070(41)(1)(a), repealed by 1978 PA 368, effective September 30, 1978, now MCL 333.7401; MSA 14.15(7401), MCL 750.157a; MSA 28.354(1), respectively. On June 27, 1978, defendant pled guilty to a second felony offender charge, contrary to MCL 769.10; MSA 28.1082...
