Richard Earl Compton and Chester Eugene Compton were indicted by the Grand Jury of Fayette County, Kentucky, for the offense of robbery in the first degree (KRS 515.020), a Class B felony. On or about December 6, 1977, the C&H Rauch Company, Gardenside Shopping Center, Lexington, Kentucky, was robbed of merchandise valued at approximately $300,000.
