Appellant Grady James Maner was convicted by a jury of bank robbery under 18 U.S.C.A. § 2113. There is no question that Maner robbed the bank. The only issue on appeal is whether the Government met its burden of proof on one element of the offense — that the bank was insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on the date of the robbery. We hold the Government has met its burden — albeit a better job...
