Luke Lawrence, Jr., was indicted by the grand jury for manslaughter in the first degree in that he "unlawfully and intentionally, but without malice, killed Charles Manzella by driving an automobile into, upon or against an automobile in which said Charles Manzella was riding" (R. 169).
