PIERCE, Judge.

Defendants, Rip Martin Enterprises and R. P. Martin, appeal from the denial of a motion to vacate a default judgment entered against them. We reverse.

On April 25, 1979, defendants were served with a summons and complaint by plaintiffs. Since no response was filed within the required time limit, default was entered against defendants by the clerk on June 6, 1979.
