The trial court directed a verdict in favor of the defendant at the end of the appellant's presentation of evidence. The appellants ask that the directed verdict be reversed because either there was sufficient direct evidence of negligence, or res ipsa loquitur applied and the appellee should have been required to go forward with evidence it was not negligent.
