HODGES, Chief Justice.

The court of appeals in People v. Nailor, Colo.App., ___ P.2d ___ (Court of Appeals No. 77-971, announced March 15, 1979) affirmed the petitioner-defendant's conviction for first-degree criminal trespass and possession of burglary tools. We granted certiorari and now hold that the trial court committed reversible error. Therefore, we reverse the judgment of the court of appeals.
