OPINION

DAUGHTREY, Judge.

In this case the trial court granted the defendant an interlocutory appeal pursuant to Tennessee Rule of Appellate Procedure 9, to permit review of an order denying the defendant's pretrial discovery motion. Because we hold that a criminal defendant may not appeal such an order on an interlocutory basis, we disallow the Rule 9 motion and remand the case for further proceedings in the trial...
