The defendant was indicted and convicted for robbery (Circuit Court No. 79-00684) and sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. He pled guilty (with the understanding that he could appeal) to a second indictment for robbery (Circuit Court No. 79-00685) and was sentenced to ten years to run concurrent with the sentence previously imposed by the trial jury.
