This case arose out of a dispute between two former partners in a used-car business about partnership assets and profits. The plaintiff, Terry's Sales, Inc., and its president, Terry West, sued for the assets and an accounting. The defendant, Henry Vander Veur 2d, claims that the parties had settled all of their differences by a settlement agreement requiring him to pay the plaintiff $3,350.
