The defendant, Robert T. Snider, Jr. (Robert Jr.), was convicted by a jury of rape, a class A felony, Ind. Code § 35-42-4-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.); child molesting, a class B felony, Ind. Code § 35-42-4-3(a) (Burns 1979 Repl.); and two counts of incest, a class D felony, Ind. Code § 35-46-1-3 (Burns 1979 Repl.).
