In an action on a contract for the construction of a bowling alley building, plaintiff Sheridan Corporation claimed a balance due in the amount of $24,839.07 and requested enforcement of a lien. Defendants Silsby counterclaimed, alleging defective work and resulting damages. The case was tried before a referee.
