The defendant appeals (G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G) from convictions on six indictments charging possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute. He assigns as error and argues in the following order (1) the denial of his motion to suppress evidence which, he contends, resulted from an illegal search and seizure; (2) the trial judge's refusal to ask certain questions of prospective jurors; (3) the denial of his motions for directed verdicts...
