This is an appeal from the judgment of sentence of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Appellant was convicted by a jury of simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, robbery and rape. He was subsequently sentenced to concurrent terms of 9 to 20 years' imprisonment.
