The determinative question in this appeal is whether this court should approve contingent attorney fee contracts for the defense of unliquidated tort damage claims in which the fee is fixed as a percentage of the difference between the amount prayed for in the petition and the amount actually awarded. In entering judgment for plaintiff in this case, the trial court rejected defendant's contention that such contracts should not be approved. We reverse...
