In a bench trial, defendant, William Zielinski, was found guilty of rape, unlawful use of weapons and unlawful restraint. He was sentenced to concurrent terms of four to five years for rape and one to three years for deviate sexual assault and unlawful use of weapons. On appeal, he contends that the trial court improperly denied his pretrial motion to suppress as evidence a gun, knives...
