The defendant, Ronald Allan Rimerman, is charged under a two-count indictment with committing air piracy in violation of 49 U.S.C. § 1472(i), and with interfering with a flight crew member in violation of 49 U.S.C. § 1472(j). These alleged violations occurred on July 20, 1979, while the defendant was enroute on a flight from Denver, Colorado, to Omaha, Nebraska...
